Rodrigo González (footballer, Born November 1995)
Rodrigo Antonio González Catalán (born 30 November 1995) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays as a defender for Chilean Primera División side Ñublense. Career After staying in the Youth Teams of Palestino and Santiago Wanderers, he played for General Velásquez, Colchagua and Chimbarongo F.C. at the Tercera A, the fourth level of the Chilean football. Along with Colchagua, he won the 2014 Tercera A Championship. In the Summer 2016, he joined San Luis de Quillota in the Chilean Primera División, first playing at the under-19 level and making his professional debut in a match against Palestino on August 21, 2016. After San Luis was relegated to Primera B, he was loaned to Unión Española for the 2019 season, returning on second half 2020 after his stay on loan at Unión La Calera. Club Unión Española S.A.D.P. is a professional football club based in the Independencia neighborhood, commune of Santiago, Chile currently participating in the Primera División de Chile. O'Higgins Region
The Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins Region (, ), often shortened to O'Higgins Region (), is one of Chile's 16 first order administrative divisions. It is subdivided into three provinces. A ''huaso'' () is a Chilean countryman and skilled horseman, similar to the United States, American cowboy, the Mexico, Mexican ''charro'' (and its northern equivalent, the ''vaquero''), the ''gaucho'' of Argentina, Uruguay and Rio Grande Do Sul, and the Australian Stockman (Australia), stockman. The 2021 Primera B de Chile, also known as Campeonato Ascenso Betsson 2021 for sponsorship purposes, was the 67th season of the Primera B de Chile, Chile's second-tier football league. The season started on 3 April 2021. Coquimbo Unido were the champions, winning their fourth title in the competition as well as clinching promotion to Primera División with a 2–1 victory over Fernandez Vial on 13 November, the last matchday of the regular season. Format The tournament was played by 16 teams, 12 returning from the previous season, three relegated from Campeonato Nacional (Coquimbo Unido, Deportes Iquique and Universidad de Concepción), and the Segunda División Profesional champions. 2019 Chilean Primera División
The 2019 Campeonato Nacional, known as Campeonato AFP PlanVital 2019 for sponsorship reasons, was the 89th season of top-flight football in Chile. The season started on 15 February 2019. Universidad Católica were the defending champions, having won the previous tournament. Due to the 2019 Chilean protests, the competition was suspended since mid-October with six matchdays still left. After a failed attempt to resume normal activity that saw only one match fully played, on 29 November 2019, ANFP's Council of Presidents voted to conclude the season. Thus Universidad Católica, who were leading the competition at the time of the suspension, won their fourteenth title. No teams were relegated to the Primera B this season.
