Rodolfo Fariñas
Rodolfo "Rudy" Castro Fariñas, Sr. (born September 5, 1951) is a Filipino lawyer, politician and the former Majority Floor Leader of the House of Representatives of the Philippines, Majority Floor Leader of the House of Representatives of the Philippines and represents the 1st District of Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Fariñas was the last person to serve as governor of Ilocos Norte who was not related to the Marcos family. Fariñas has been described as a "henchman of the Marcos regime". Early life and education Fariñas was born on September 5, 1951. In 1971, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts (AB) degree from Ateneo de Manila University. Antonio Tirol Carpio (; born October 26, 1949) is a former associate justice of the Supreme Court of the Philippines. He was sworn in as a member of the Supreme Court by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo on October 26, 2001, and served until his retirement on October 26, 2019. Teofisto "Tito" Tayko Guingona Jr. (born July 4, 1928) is a Filipino politician and diplomat who served as the 11th vice president of the Philippines from 2001 to 2004, during the first term of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Born in San Juan (now a part of Metro Manila), he is a graduate of Ateneo de Manila University, where he was a working student. He was appointed as chairman of the Commission on Audit by then newly installed President Corazon C. The People Power Revolution, also known as the EDSA Revolution or the February Revolution, were a series of popular Demonstration (people), demonstrations in the Philippines, mostly in Metro Manila, from February 22 to 25, 1986. There was a sustained campaign of civil resistance against regime violence and electoral fraud. Fredenil Hernaez Castro (born April 27, 1951), also known as Oto Castro, is a Filipino politician serving as the Governor of Capiz since 2022. He was the Representative of Capiz's 2nd district from 2001 to 2010 and from 2013 to 2022. He had served as a House Deputy Speaker and as the House Majority Leader.
