Rodolfo Echeverría Álvarez
Rodolfo Echeverría Álvarez, better known as Rodolfo Landa (September 24, 1926 – February 14, 2004), was a Mexican actor, lawyer, public official and trade unionist. He served as a leader of the National Actors Association (ANDA) and the Mexican Theater Center of ITI-UNESCO, in addition to developing a theatrical career for which he won critical and public recognition. He was the brother of Luis Echeverría Álvarez, president of Mexico from 1970 to 1976. Echeverría Álvarez also served in the Chamber of Deputies on two occasions: from 1952 to 1955, representing the Federal District's 18th electoral district, and from 1961 to 1964, representing the Federal District's 6th electoral district. National Association Of Actors
The National Association of Actors (, ANDA) is the Mexican actors guild. It is a member of the Bloque Latinoamericano de Actores (BLADA, the Latin American Actors' Block) that includes all of the actors' unions in Latin America. The ANDA is headquartered in the ''colonia'' (borough) San Rafael of Mexico City and currently presided by Yolanda Cianí as general secretary. ANDA began in 1934 as an independent union of actors guilds from throughout Mexico. When Angel T. Sala became its secretary general in 1936, the union was subsumed into the Union of Cinema Studio Workers (''Unión de los Trabajadores de Estudio Cinematográficos'', UTEC), which was under the control of the CTM, a labor confederation with allegiance to the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party. Luis Echeverría
Luis Echeverría Álvarez (; 17 January 1922 – 8 July 2022) was a Mexican lawyer, academic, and politician affiliated with the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) who served as the 57th president of Mexico from 1970 to 1976. Previously, Echeverría was Secretariat of the Interior, Secretary of the Interior from 1963 to 1969. He was the longest-lived president in Mexican history and the first to reach the age of 100. Echeverría was a long-time CIA asset, known by the cryptonym, LITEMPO-8. The Chamber of Deputies ( Spanish: , ) is the lower house of the Congress of the Union, the bicameral parliament of Mexico. The other chamber is the Senate. The 6th federal electoral district of Mexico City (; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of 22 such districts in Mexico City. Fernand Gravey (25 December 1905 in Ixelles (Belgium) – 2 November 1970 in Paris, France),Death certificate # 8/445/1970 also known as Fernand Gravet in the United States, was a Belgian-born French actor. Early life Gravey was the son of actors Georges Mertens and Fernande Depernay, who appeared in silent films produced by pioneer Belge Cinéma Film (a subsidiary of Pathé). Gravey started performing at age five under his father's direction. Before World War I, he received an education in Britain and could speak both French and English fluently, something which became useful in his movie roles. During the war, Gravey served in the British Merchant Navy. In 1936, he married the French actress Jane Renouardt, who was 15 years his senior.
