Rod L. Evans is an American philosopher, author, and lecturer who writes and speaks on ethics, religion, political philosophy, and English usage. Evans graduated from Old Dominion University and received a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Virginia. Old Dominion University (Old Dominion or ODU) is a public research university in Norfolk, Virginia. Logology (or ludolinguistics) is the field of recreational linguistics, an activity that encompasses a wide variety of word games and wordplay. The term is analogous to the term "recreational mathematics". The ''Pittsburgh Tribune-Review'', also known as "the Trib," is the second largest daily newspaper serving metropolitan Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
