Rocko’s Modern Life
''Rocko's Modern Life'' is an American Television comedy, comedy animated television series created by Joe Murray (animator), Joe Murray for Nickelodeon. The series centers on the surreal life of an Anthropomorphism, anthropomorphic Australian immigrant wallaby named Rocko and his friends: the eccentric steer Heffer Wolfe, the neurotic turtle Filburt Shellbach, Filburt, and Rocko's faithful dog Spunky (Rocko's Modern Life), Spunky. It is set in the fictional town of O-Town. Throughout its run to present day, the series has been controversial for its adult humor, including double entendres, innuendos, and satirical social commentary, helping pave the way for adult animation and earning a cult following, akin to ''The Ren & Stimpy Show.'' ''Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling'' (titled onscreen as ''Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling: The Rocko Special'') is a 2019 American animated comedy streaming television special based on, as well as a continuation of Joe Murray's Nickelodeon series ''Rocko's Modern Life''. It was originally slated to premiere on Nickelodeon in 2018 as a television special, but went unaired. ''Trash-O-Madness'' is a 1992 short film and the pilot episode for the American animated series ''Rocko's Modern Life''. It was directed and written by series creator Joe Murray, with Carlos Alazraqui providing all voices. A new version of the pilot, that was extended for the purposes of including it as a regular episode, was produced and released as part of the first season. It also features an extended end credit sequence to accommodate the names of production crew behind "Trash-O-Madness". On February 7, 2012, the original pilot version found its way onto Shout! With Dan Povenmire, Marsh is the co-creator and co-star of the Disney Channel animated series ''Phineas and Ferb'' and '' Milo Murphy's Law.''
