Rocknet Aréna
Rocknet aréna is an indoor sporting arena located in Chomutov, Czech Republic. The capacity of the arena is 5,250 people. It replaced ČEZ Stadion Chomutov as home of the ice hockey team Piráti Chomutov. The arena opened on 30 April 2011 with an exhibition match attended by over 5,000 people. The arena is part of a complex which was built on the site of former barracks. The arena hosted two matches of the Czech Republic men's national volleyball team in 2014. In 2018, the arena, which had previously been known as SD Aréna after title sponsor Severočeské doly, took the new name of Rocknet aréna on a five-year naming rights deal. Rocket Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The building is the home of the Cleveland Cavaliers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Czech Extraliga () is the highest-level ice hockey league in the Czech Republic. It was created in 1993 following the peaceful dissolution of Czechoslovakia midway through the 1992–93 Czechoslovak Extraliga season (which all Slovak and Czech teams played to completion). The league's season usually takes place between September and April and features 14 teams. Teams from the ELH participate in the IIHF's annual European tournament in the CHL. The Czech Republic national men's volleyball team is controlled by the Czech Volleyball Federation, which represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches.
