In 2016, TV Nova (Czech Republic), TV Nova bought the broadcast rights to air their own version of ''Expedition Robinson''. Charlie Parsons
Charles Andrew Parsons is a British television producer known as the creator of the ''Survivor'' franchise. He also created ''The Big Breakfast'' and '' The Word''. Education Parsons was educated at Tonbridge School, a boarding independent school in Tonbridge in Kent in South East England, and credits the tough boarding school regime he endured there in the early 1970s, which at the time was commonplace, as providing an inspiration for his creation of the series ''Survivor''. He then went to Pembroke College at the University of Oxford, where he studied English literature and afterwards trained as a journalist. TV Nova is a commercial television station in the Czech Republic. It began broadcasting in February 1994 as the first privately held nationwide Czech TV station. Its first CEO was Vladimír Železný. It quickly achieved the largest market share in the country and remained in this position until the early 2010s. Robinsonův ostrov 2018 was the second season of the Czech version of Swedish television series '' Expedition Robinson''. The season premiered on 5 February 2018. Nineteen contestants competed for 32 days to try and win 2,500,000 CZK. The main twist this season is that the tribes are divided by their gender. In addition, after the first challenge of the season, the leaders of both tribes were told to make new tribes. The person who was not picked for either tribe was eliminated from the game.
