Roberto Pérez (Bolivian Footballer)
Roberto Pérez (17 April 1960 – 20 February 2024) was a Bolivian footballer who played as a defender. He made 16 appearances for the Bolivia national team from 1983 to 1993. He was also part of Bolivia's squad for the 1983 Copa América tournament. San Ignacio de Velasco, is the capital of the José Miguel de Velasco Province and the San Ignacio de Velasco Municipality in the Santa Cruz Department of Bolivia. History The Jesuit mission of San Ignacio de Velasco was founded in 1748 by the Jesuit missionaries Diego Contreras and Michael Streicher (also known as Areijer). The mission was inhabited by indigenous Ugaraños (Ayoreo). It was partially settled by inhabitants of San Ignacio de Zamucos, another Jesuit mission which had been abandoned in 1745.
