Roberta Groner
Roberta Groner (born January 4, 1978) is an American athlete competing in Long-distance running, long-distance events. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Groner competed in running during her four years at Saint Francis University. She stopped running after she graduated, as she found she no longer enjoyed it, got married and had three children. She began running again when she was thirty years old, and she completed her first marathon in 2011. Her initial coach was Hector Matos, and she was taught by Steve Magness beginning in 2019. Her personal best on marathon is 2:29:09, from Rotterdam Marathon in April 2019. Representing the United States at the 2019 World Athletics Championships in Doha, she placed sixth in the 2019 World Athletics Championships – Women's marathon, women's marathon. Roxbury is a township in Morris County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the township's population was 23,324, reflecting a decline of 559 (−2.3%) from the 23,883 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 3,454 (+16.9%) from the 20,429 counted in the 1990 Census. The township is located approximately west-northwest of New York City, west-northwest of Newark, New Jersey and east of the Delaware Water Gap on the border of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Roxbury was formed on December 24, 1740, from portions of Morris Township.
