Robert Förster
Robert Förster (born 27 January 1978) is a German former professional road racing cyclist. He specialized in bunch sprints. He turned professional in 2001, initially riding for Team Nürnberger. His career highlights have been wins in the final ( Museo del Ghisallo–Milan) stage 21 of the Giro d'Italia 2006, and stage 15 ( Motilla del Palancar – Ford factory, Almussafes) of the 2006 Vuelta. Markkleeberg
Markkleeberg () is an affluent suburb of Leipzig, located in the Leipzig district of the Free State of Saxony, Germany. The river Pleiße runs through the city, which borders Leipzig to the north and to the west. Markkleeberg is known to be the entry point to a region of recultivated open-cast mining lakes south of Leipzig dubbed the ''Leipziger Neuseenland''. History The town now called Markkleeberg has its origins in several towns that have been merged over the years. The center of modern-day Markkleeberg used to be called Oetzsch. It was merged with the smaller outlying district Markkleeberg in 1911 and renamed Oetzsch-Markkleeberg. Oetzsch-Markkleeberg was in turn merged with Gautzsch and the whole town was called "Markkleeberg", although Markkleeberg was the smallest, because it sounded most Germanic at a time of Nazi-led Germanisation. The International Rheinland-Pfalz Rundfahrt was a stage race, multi-stage road bicycle racing, road bicycle race held in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. In the years from 1966 to 2007, it was considered one of the biggest sporting events in Rhineland-Palatinate. No other city was as often the stage destination of the ''Rheinland-Pfalz Rundfahrt'' as Bad Marienberg. In its early years, it was an amateur race. The edition of 1969 was notable for the domination of Fedor den Hertog, winning nine of the eleven stages, and the overall classification with a large margin.
