Rob Spence (American Football)
Rob Spence (born October 10, 1958) is an American college football coach, currently serving as the offensive coordinator and tight ends coach of the Georgetown Hoyas. Playing career Spence played tailback and receiver at Saint Andrews School in Middletown, Delaware, and tight end at Iona. He graduated with a degree in social work from Iona in 1981. Coaching career Spence began his career as offensive coordinator at Pelham Memorial High School in Pelham, New York. After one season, he became offensive coordinator at Iona Preparatory School, and was later promoted to junior varsity coach and head coach. He then spent single seasons as offensive coordinator at Iona College and Hofstra, before joining Mark Duffner's staff at Holy Cross as quarterbacks coach. 2005 Clemson Tigers Football Team
The 2005 Clemson Tigers football team represented Clemson University in the 2005 NCAA Division I-A football season. The team was coached by Tommy Bowden and played their homes game at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, South Carolina. Clemson started off its season with wins over a ranked Texas A&M team and the Maryland Terrapins. However, Clemson then lost the following three games to Miami, Boston College, and Wake Forest. The losses to Miami and Boston College came in overtime. Clemson then rebounded to win the next two games against NC State and Temple. The next week, Clemson lost a close game to Georgia Tech. Clemson then closed out the regular season with three straight wins over Duke, ACC rival Florida State, and instate rival South Carolina. The quarterback (QB) is a position in gridiron football who are members of the offensive side of the ball and mostly line up directly behind the Lineman (football), offensive line. Mark Duffner
Mark Duffner (born July 19, 1953) is an American football coach who is the senior defensive assistant for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League (NFL). Duffner served as the head coach of the Maryland Terrapins football team from 1992 to 1996. Duffner was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. suburb of Annandale, Virginia; he played tackle for legendary coach Bob Hardage at powerhouse Annandale High School and played collegiately at the College of William and Mary, recruited to the school by assistant coach Bobby Ross.
