Rob Barrett
Robert Joseph Barrett III (born January 29, 1970) is an American death metal musician, best known as the current guitarist for Cannibal Corpse. He played with the band from 1993 to 1997 and rejoined in 2005. He has cited Gary Moore, Malcolm Young, Randy Rhoads, Eddie Van Halen, Tony Iommi and Steve Vai, among others, as his influences. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Career Barrett was born in Buffalo, New York. Barrett started playing guitar at age 15, and his brother’s friend sold him his first guitar for $30. It was a flying-V shape. He started his professional career in 1990 when he formed the band Solstice (American band), Solstice with drummer Alex Marquez and guitar player Dennis Muñoz. The band recorded a demo in 1991 produced by Jim Morris and signed a record deal with the German label SPV/Steamhammer. Background Material for the album was written shortly after the completion of their previous studio album ''Violence Unimagined'' in 2021. Recording sessions took place in Rutan's Mana Studio in Florida and were described as "smoother than ever". The album was named by drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz, who felt it was an appropriate representation of the band. ''Red Before Black'' is the fourteenth studio album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse, released on November 3, 2017. This is the band's final album to feature guitarist Pat O'Brien before producer Erik Rutan officially replaced him in 2021. Background and recording The band started to write the album in 2016 after the last run of touring for their previous album, '' A Skeletal Domain''. When interviewed in 2017 drummer Paul Mazurkiewicz stated that the band never go by any specific blueprints when they start writing for an album, pointing out that this was also the case with ''Red Before Black''. Jack Owen
Jack Owen (born December 6, 1967) is an American musician and guitarist of the death metal band Six Feet Under. He was one of the founding members of Cannibal Corpse. He also had a stint with Deicide—another influential and long-running Florida death metal band—with whom he recorded four albums. In 2007, Owen played shows with Adrift before joining Order of Ennead at times when their guitarist, John Li, was unavailable. Pat O'Brien (born May 17, 1965) is an American musician best known as the former lead guitarist for death metal band Cannibal Corpse. He is also a former member of heavy metal band Nevermore, a former live guitarist for Slayer, and is currently the lead guitarist for Exhorder. Biography was born in Northern Kentucky. He graduated from Conner High School in Hebron, Kentucky, in 1983 and currently resides in Tampa, Florida. His hobbies involve music and hunting. got his first guitar when he was 11.
