Rize Sports Hall () is a multi-sport indoor arena in Rize Rize (; ; ; ka, რიზე}; ) is a coastal city in the eastern part of the Black Sea Region of Turkey. It is the seat of Rize Province and Rize District.urkey. Built in 2015, it is owned by the Youth Services and Sports Directorate of Rize Province. The sports hall has a seating capacity of 3,000. It is situated in a sports complex. The construction of the sport complex began on March 23, 2012 with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by government ministers. Rize Province () is a province of northeast Turkey, on the eastern Black Sea coast between Trabzon and Artvin. The province of Erzurum is to the south. This article describes the qualification for the 2016 European Women's Handball Championship. Qualification system The draw was held in Vienna, Austria on 24 March 2015 at 11:30 local time. Sweden as host nation was directly qualified. 32 teams had registered for participation and compete for 14 places at the final tournament in 2 distinct Qualification Phases. The group winners of phase 1 advanced to phase 2. The 28 teams were divided into seven groups of four teams. The top two teams qualified for the main tournament as well as the best-ranked third placed team, where the results against the last-placed team were revoked.
