Rizal Technological University
Rizal Technological University (RTU) is a state university based in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, with its main campus in Mandaluyong City and a branch in Pasig City. It was established on July 11, 1969, as the College of Rizal, before it became autonomous in 1975. The state university is also the first educational institution in the country to use cooperative education as a curriculum plan which is recognized by various industries, businesses and agencies all over the country. The university has various different academic fields, and focuses primarily on architecture, engineering, and technology programs. The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association owned by Asian Coatings Philippines, Inc. It debuted in the league in the 2006–07 PBA season after acquiring the franchise rights of the Shell Turbo Chargers in 2006, which disbanded after the 2004–05 PBA season. Eduardo Damo Daquioag Jr. (born August 18, 1991) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the Parañaque Patriots of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL). He was picked by the Meralco Bolts in the special draft of the 2016 PBA draft. He also played collegiate basketball with the UST Growling Tigers.
