Ritápolis National Forest () is a national forest in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Location The Ritápolis National Forest covers of Atlantic Forest. It covers parts of the municipalities of São João del Rei, Ritápolis and Coronel Xavier Chaves in Minas Gerais. Conservation The Ritápolis National Forest was created on 21 September 1999 and is administered by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio). Ritápolis is a Brazilian municipality located in the state of Minas Gerais. The city belongs to the mesoregion of Campo das Vertentes and to the microregion of Sao Joao del Rei. In 2020, the estimated population was 4,562. The municipality contains part of the Ritápolis National Forest.
