The district consists primarily of Gatton and Laidley Shires and northern parts of Beaudesert Shire. Adare is a rural locality in the Lockyer Valley Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Adare had a population of 873 people. Geography The Warrego Highway forms most of the locality's southern boundary. The Gatton-Esk Road forms most of its eastern boundary. Lockyer Creek forms the south-eastern boundary. Grantham is a rural town and locality in the Lockyer Valley Region, Queensland, Australia. The town is located west of the state capital, Brisbane. In the , the locality of Grantham had a population of 634 people. Geography The Warrego Highway passes through from east to west. The north-west corner is occupied by part of the Lockyer State Forest. History The area was first settled in 1841, by George Mocatta.
