Ringkøbing Håndbold
Ringkøbing Håndbold (Ringkøbing Handball) is a Danish handball club from Ringkøbing. In the season 2023/24 the club played in the Danish Women's Handball League. When they played in the Danish 1st division, they reached the promotion play-off three times in a row in 2008/09, 2009/10 and 2010/11, but they did not manage to be promoted. In 2013 a week before the beginning of the 2013/2014 season, the top flight club Aalborg DH went bankrupt and was thus administratively relegated. Ringkøbing Håndbold were offered to take their place, which they accepted. Ringkøbing Håndbold played six seasons in the top flight before being relegated in 2018/2019 season. The next season promotion was just missed, when the club came second in the 1st division. However, in the 2020/2021 season they did win the 1st Division and thus promoted once again to the top flight. Skanderborg Håndbold, previously known as Vrold-Skanderborg Håndboldklub is a women's handball club based in Skanderborg in Jutland, Denmark. The club has over 650 members, which makes it one of the biggest handball clubs in Denmark and the biggest in Jutland. In 2021, Aarhus Håndbold merged with Skanderborg Håndbold's men's team, and they changed the name to Skanderborg Aarhus Håndbold. History The club was founded in 1982 and was the result of a merger between Stilling-Skanderborg and Vrold-Skanderborg Handball Club. The men's team played in the top division Herrehåndboldligaen from the 2011-12 season until the merger with Aarhus GF Håndbold in 2021. Mia Biltoft (born 3 April 1992) is a Danish former handball player. She played on the Danish national team. Career Biltoft started playing handball at Rindum SU. She then joined Ikast-Brande Elite Håndbold and was with them when the changed name to FC Midtjylland Håndbold, where she played for the senior team. In 2012 she joined Danish second tier side Ringkøbing Håndbold on loan, and joined permanently in 2013. Ringkøbing Håndbold had been promoted to the first league, as Aalborg DH had gone bankrupt and thus had to leave the league. From 2016 to 2018 she played for the German club SG BBM Bietigheim.
