Robert Rietti, (born Lucio Herbert Rietti; sometimes Rietty, 8 February 1923 – 3 April 2015) was an English actor, translator, playwright, and Dubbing, dubbing director. With over 200 credits to his name, he had a highly prolific career in the British, American, and Italian entertainment industries. He was particularly prominent in post-production Dubbing (filmmaking), dubbing both foreign and domestic, often overseeing the English-language dubbing of foreign actors' dialogue. He is known for his dubbing work in the List of James Bond films, ''James Bond'' film series, ''Waterloo (1970 film), Waterloo'', the 1972 adaptation of ''Treasure Island (1972 film), Treasure Island'', and ''Avalanche Express''. Victor Rietti (29 February 1888 – 3 December 1963) was an Italian-born actor and director who emigrated to the United Kingdom. He became known through his work in television, especially through the many live television productions of the Italian play '' To Live in Peace'' during the 1950s. He was knighted by the Italian government. Biography Born in Ferrara, Italy, in 1888 to a wealthy family, Vittorio Rietti was the eleventh of the twelve children of Samuele and Lucia Rietti. At the age of 13, he was discovered by the tragedian actor Tommaso Salvini while partaking in a charity performance. Gateways is an international organization whose self-declared mission is it to "raise Jewish consciousness." Origins Gateways was founded in 1998 by Rabbi Mordechai Suchard with the stated goal of "providing opportunities for Jews to unlock the treasure of their heritage through dynamic educational and social programs." The organization is based in Monsey, New York, United States. It began as an American offshoot of Arachim (meaning "values"), an Israeli Judaism outreach organization founded in 1979. Vittorio Rieti (28 January 1898 – 19 February 1994) was an Italian and American composer. Biography Rieti was born to a family of Jewish descent in Alexandria, Kingdom of Egypt. He later moved to Milan to study economics. Rieti (; , Sabino: ) is a town and ''comune'' in Lazio, central Italy, with a population of 47,700. It is the administrative seat of the province of Rieti and see of the diocese of Rieti, as well as the modern capital of the Sabina region. Moses da Rieti (also known as Moshe ben Yitzḥak and Mosè di Gaio; 1388–1466) was an Italian-Jewish poet, philosopher, and physician. Born in Rieti, he composed works in Hebrew and Italian language, Italian and has been called a Hebrew Dante Alighieri, Dante. His major work, the transitionally post-medieval and philosophical Hebrew poem ''Miqdash me'at'', includes an encyclopedia of sciences, a Jewish paradise fantasy, and a post-biblical history of Jewish literature.
