Rickard Engfors
Rickard Engfors (born 22 November 1976) is a Sweden, Swedish Model (person), model, Wardrobe stylist, stylist and former drag queen. His career began in 1996 as an artist in Swedish drag troupe After Dark (drag act), After Dark and he was quickly appointed to "Christer Lindarws crown prince" and was also known as "Sweden's best looking girl". He has performed for royalty, won awards for his artistic efforts and shared the stage with many of Sweden's most beloved artists. He acts as female lead singer in the music video of the 2003 single Pass This On#Music video, Pass This On by The Knife. In 2004 the Sweden, Swedish fashion house :sv:Panos Emporio, Panos Emporio chose Rickard as its house model for a swimwear range, which caused so much controversy that it was re-shot using a Greeks, Greek model called Aleka. Queentastic
Queentastic is a group of Norwegian drag artists, established in early 2005. Background Members Dean Erik Andersen, born in 1971 in Kristiansand, and Geir Lillejord, born in Skien in 1968, both have previous drag experience from their membership in Great Garlic Girls - another Norwegian drag act (two members of which backed Ketil Stokkan's Eurovision Song Contest 1986 entry as dancers. In fact, Dean had previously substituted for Geir (a founder of the group), which marked the beginning of their association. 2005 was the 45th edition of the Swedish music competition , which was organised by (SVT) and took place over a five-week period between 12 February and 12 March 2005. The winner of the competition was Martin Stenmarck with the song "Las Vegas", who represented in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005, where he came nineteenth with 30 points. Nanne Grönvall's defeat was met with consternation by many people, who felt that a gap of over 150,000 votes should be enough for victory. There were even calls for SVT to scrap the jury system altogether and simply let the televotes decide the winner. For a comparison, it was noted that Grönvall had received more votes than Lena Philipsson, the popular 2004 winner. However, SVT said that there was nothing they could do about the result. The Knife
The Knife were a Swedish electronic music duo from Gothenburg, formed in 1999. The group consisted of siblings Karin and Olof Dreijer, who together also run their own record company, Rabid Records. They gained a large international following in response to their 2003 album '' Deep Cuts''. The duo's first tour took place in 2006, along with the release of their critically acclaimed album '' Silent Shout''. They have won a number of Swedish Grammis, but refused to attend award ceremonies. They have appeared in public wearing Venetian masks.
