Richardson Zéphir
Richardson Zéphir (born December 29, 1977) is a Canadian stand-up comedian and actor based in Montreal, Quebec. He is best known for his participation in the television shows ''Big Brother Célébrités'' and '' LOL : qui rira le dernier ?''. Biography Born in Laval to immigrant parents from Haiti, Richardson Zéphir was educated at Odyssée-des-Jeunes and Horizon Jeunesse, where he discovered improvisation in childhood. He then continued his post-secondary studies in petrochemistry at Collège de Maisonneuve in Montreal, specializing in water purification, hydrocarbons, natural gases and chemical processes, while continuing to practice improvisation. With Ian Métayer, Zéphir collaborates in the creation and production of comedy shows under the banner Les Grands Burlesques. In 2004, he became co-owner of ''Terrasses Bonsecours''. Laval is a city in Quebec, Canada. It is in the southwest of the province, north of Montreal. The Prix Gémeaux () or Gémeaux Awards honour achievements in Canadian television and digital media that is broadcast in French. It has been sponsored by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television since 1987. ''Caméra Café'' is a French-born format of comedy television series exported around the world. Two movie spin-offs have been made in France under the titles of ''Espace détente'' and ''Le Séminaire''. It was originally a French television show created by Bruno Solo, Yvan Le Bolloc'h, and Alain Kappauf and it was broadcast from September 2001 to December 2004 on the M6 (TV channel), M6 channel. 700 episodes of 3 minutes each have been produced and were broadcast again on M6 in 2004. Ici Radio-Canada Première (formerly Première Chaîne) is a Canadian French-language radio network, the news and information service of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (known as Société Radio-Canada in French), the public broadcaster of Canada. The yearly program features sketches satirizing the past year's events, followed by a countdown to the next year itself. Originally beginning in 1968, ''Bye Bye '98'' was the final edition of its first run, until the show was revived by the comedy troupe Rock et Belles Oreilles, who produced the 2006 and 2007 editions of the show. In 2008, it was announced that Véronique Cloutier and Louis Morissette would take over the program for its 2008 edition.
