Richard Widmark
Richard Weedt Widmark (December 26, 1914March 24, 2008) was an American film, stage, and television actor and producer. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his role as the villainous Tommy Udo in his debut film, ''Kiss of Death (1947 film), Kiss of Death'' (1947), for which he also won the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year - Actor, Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer. Early in his career, Widmark was typecast in similar villainous or anti-hero roles in film noir, films noir, but he later branched out into more heroic leading and supporting roles in Westerns, mainstream dramas, and horror films among others. Sunrise Township is a township in Chisago County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,994 at the 2010 census, up from 1,594 in 2000. Geography Sunrise Township is located in east-central Chisago County, with its northeast border following the St. Croix River, which is also the state line between Minnesota and Wisconsin. The township is bordered to the west by the cities of Harris and North Branch, to the north by Rushseba Township, to the south by Chisago Lake Township, and to the east of its southern half by Amador Township. ''Front Page Farrell'' is an American old-time radio program that was broadcast on Mutual from June 23, 1941 to March 13, 1942, and on NBC from September 14, 1942, to March 26, 1954. The episodes broadcast on Mutual originated at WOR, making the program the first live serial that Mutual broadcast from New York City. Format In its early years, ''Front Page Farrell'' was much like other soap operas in that it focused on the domestic situations of a married couple, David and Sally Farrell. CBS Radio Mystery Theater
''CBS Radio Mystery Theater'' (a.k.a. ''Radio Mystery Theater'' and ''Mystery Theater'', sometimes abbreviated as ''CBSRMT'') is a radio drama series created by Himan Brown that was broadcast on CBS Radio Network affiliates from 1974 to 1982, and later in the early 2000s was repeated by the NPR satellite feed. In New York City it was not aired by the then all-news WCBS but by its originating station, WOR, which produced and announced it as simply ''Radio Mystery Theater''. The format was similar to that of classic old time radio shows like '' The Mysterious Traveler'' and '' The Whistler'', in that the episodes were introduced by host E. G. Cincinnatus Shryock (Lexington, Kentucky, 1816 – Lexington, 1888) was an American architect. A number of his works are listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Life and career Shryock was born into a famous American architectural family. His father was the Kentucky architect and contractor Mathias Shryock and his brother, Gideon, also became a well-known architect in his own right. He matriculated to Transylvania University in Lexington, whose campus now occupies the former site of his boyhood home, which had been built by his father. ''Suspense'' is a radio drama series broadcast on CBS Radio from 1940 through 1962.
