Richard Osman (born 28 November 1970) is an English television presenter, producer, and novelist. He is the creator and former co-presenter of the BBC One television quiz show ''Pointless''. He has presented the BBC Two quiz shows ''Two Tribes (game show), Two Tribes'' and ''Richard Osman's House of Games'', and been a team captain on the comedy panel shows ''Insert Name Here'' and ''The Fake News Show''. He has also made appearances on British comedy Panel show, panel shows including ''Would I Lie to You?'' and ''QI''. Osman worked at Hat Trick Productions before becoming creative director of the television production company Endemol UK, producing shows including ''Prize Island'' for ITV (TV network), ITV and Deal or No Deal (British game show), ''Deal or No Deal'' for Channel 4. Ingrid Oliver
Ingrid Oliver (born 25 February 1977) is a British actress and comedian, and one half of the comic double act '' Watson & Oliver''. She played Petronella Osgood, a supporting character in the BBC television series ''Doctor Who''. Career Oliver and her comedy partner Lorna Watson met at Tiffin Girls' School in Kingston upon Thames. She then read Modern Languages at New College, Oxford. Billericay
Billericay ( ) is a town and civil parish in the Borough of Basildon in Essex, England. It lies within the London Basin, east of the City of London. The town was founded in the 13th century by the Stratford Langthorne Abbey, Abbot of West Ham, in his Great Burstead, Manor of Great Burstead. During the Peasants’ Revolt of 1381, the Essex rebels were defeated in a battle with Richard II's forces in the Battle of Billericay. In 1620 four local people were on board the Mayflower as it sailed to Massachusetts, to establish the first English settlement in what would become the north of the United States. Yardley Court
Yardley Court is a private day preparatory school for boys in Tonbridge, Kent, England, founded in 1898 by Arthur Bickmore and his wife, Lilian. It now forms part of The Schools at Somerhill, a public school in the British sense of the term. There are currently around 250 boys in the school, aged between 7 and 13. ''Deal or No Deal'' is a British game show. It was originally presented by Noel Edmonds from 31 October 2005 to 23 December 2016 on Channel 4, and then by Stephen Mulhern from 20 November 2023 on ITV1. Based on the Deal or No Deal, original Netherlands format of the game show, each episode sees a contestant choosing one of 22 boxes, each containing a cash amount. A contestant winning is determined by luck – cash amounts are randomly allocated to each of the boxes prior to the game, with contestants required to open a specific number of boxes per round of the game to eliminate the cash amounts their chosen box does not contain, in turn affecting how much is offered by the Banker. Games always end with the player opening all of the boxes, including their own, regardless of how they intend to make money.
