Richard Ayoade
Richard Ayoade ( ; born 23 May 1977) is a British comedian, actor, writer, director and presenter. He played the role of socially awkward IT technician Maurice Moss in Channel 4 sitcom ''The IT Crowd'' (2006–2013), for which he won the 2014 British Academy Television Awards, BAFTA for Best Male Comedy Performance. Ayoade was president of the Footlights club whilst a student at the University of Cambridge. He and Matthew Holness debuted their respective characters Dean Learner and Garth Marenghi at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2000, bringing the characters to television with ''Garth Marenghi's Darkplace'' (2004) and ''Man to Man with Dean Learner'' (2006). ''Man to Man with Dean Learner'' is a British comedy chat show that was first broadcast on Channel 4 on 20 October 2006 and released on DVD on 3 September 2007. It features comedians Richard Ayoade and Matthew Holness. ''The Double: A Petersburg Poem'' () is the second novel written by Fyodor Dostoevsky. It was first published on 30 January 1846 in the ''Otechestvennye zapiski''. Joe Dunthorne (born 14 January 1982) is a Welsh novelist, poet and journalist. He made his name with his novel ''Submarine'' (2008), made into a film in 2010. His second novel, ''Wild Abandon'' (2011), won the RSL Encore Award. A selection of his poems was published in 2010 in the '' Faber New Poets'' series.
