Ricardo Álvarez Arias
Ricardo Antonio Álvarez Arias (born 4 February 1963) is a businessman and the former mayor of Tegucigalpa and the former First Vice President of Honduras. He ran for Mayor of Tegucigalpa and won the 2005 elections and was re-elected on the 2009 elections representing the National Party of Honduras. In 2012, Álvarez ran for the National Party nomination for president, ultimately losing to Juan Orlando Hernández Juan Orlando Hernández Alvarado (; born 28 October 1968), also known by his initials JOH, is a Honduran lawyer, former politician and convicted drug trafficker who was 38th president of Honduras from 27 January 2014 to 27 January 2022 for two .... The vice presidents of Honduras, officially the Designates to the Presidency (), is the second highest political position in Honduras. According to the current constitution, the president and vice-presidents are elected in the same ticket. Los Cachiros
Cachiros or Los Cachiros is the name of a Honduran criminal organization dedicated to drug trafficking. It was founded in the early 1990s by a group of cattle farmers in the departments of Colón and Olancho de Honduras. One of the leaders of the Cachiros, Javier Maradiaga, also known as "Javier Cachiro", surrendered to the US government in January 2015.
