''Rewind'' is a 2023 Philippine science fiction romantic drama film directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar from a story and screenplay written by Enrico C. Santos, with Joel Mercado co-written the former. Rewind Festival
The Rewind Festival is an annual music festival that takes place in Temple Island Meadows, Remenham, Berkshire near Henley-on-Thames, England, Capesthorne Hall, Cheshire, England, and Scone Palace, Perthshire in Scotland. It was first held in August 2009. Originally called "80s Rewind Festival", it showcases bands and solo artists that had success in the 1980s and as such is also known as the 80's Rewind Festival. As well as music, in 2009 the site also featured a fun fair, street entertainment and artists from The Comedy Store. The festival is run by The Rival Organisation and Into The Groove, and was started after the success of one-off 1980s retro shows of previous years. Rewind TV is a British free-to-air television channel specialising in British and American vintage television series and programmes. It launched on Sky on 23 May 2024 and on Freeview on 18 September 2024. Its programming is similar to that offered by Talking Pictures TV and That's TV's network. The channel is presided over by Oscar Beuselinck and Jonathan Moore who have long experience in the video and DVD publishing industry. Slitting
Roll slitting is a shearing operation that cuts a large roll of material into narrower rolls. There are two types of slitting: log slitting and rewind slitting. In log slitting the roll of material is treated as a whole (the 'log') and one or more slices are taken from it without an unrolling/re-reeling process. In rewind slitting the web is unwound and run through the machine, passing through knives or lasers, before being rewound on one or more shafts to form narrower rolls. The multiple narrower strips of material may be known as ''mults'' (short for multiple) or ''pancakes'' if their diameter is much more than their width. For log slitting, the machine used is called a paper sawing machine or a paper roll saw, which typically uses a circular saw or band saw to cut rolls into narrower ones. Rewind TV is an American digital television network owned by Nexstar Media Group, and is a spinoff/sister network of Antenna TV. The network's programming consists of classic television series, primarily sitcoms, from the 1980s to the early 2000s. Rewind TV's programming and advertising operations are headquartered in the WGN-TV studios in Chicago. The album was produced by Rascal Flatts, Howard Benson and Dann Huff. A deluxe edition is available at Target with four bonus tracks. With the exception of the deluxe edition track "She Must Like Broken Hearts", this is the group's only album to not feature any songwriting credits from the group themselves. The film documents a family's struggle to understand and come to terms with multiple cases of child abuse, culminating in three criminal prosecutions. The film makes extensive use of the family's camcorder footage recorded before, during, and after the period in which the abuse occurred. The film includes coverage of the high-profile prosecution of Howard Nevison, a former cantor at the Jewish congregation of Temple Emanu-El in New York. Coming only three years after ''Sucking in the Seventies'', the album was primarily compiled to mark the end of the band's alliance with Warner Music (in North America) and EMI (all other territories), both of whom were the distributors of Rolling Stones Records. It is the second Rolling Stones album to include a lyric sheet (after 1978's ''Some Girls''). Plot The film opens with an apparent terrorist attack involving a nuclear device which destroys New York City, killing nine million people. The perpetrator, Benjamin Rourke, a Nobel Prize-winning physicist, had become embittered by the death of his wife. Having learned of a potential time travel experiment in progress, he engineered the bomb plot to force the US Government to send agents back to prevent the disaster from happening. A microform is a scaled-down reproduction of a document, typically either photographic film or paper, made for the purposes of transmission, storage, reading, and printing. Microform images are commonly reduced to about 4% or of the original document size. For special purposes, greater optical reductions may be used. Three formats are common: microfilm (reels), microfiche (flat sheets), and aperture cards. Microcards, also known as "micro-opaques", a format no longer produced, were similar to microfiche, but printed on cardboard rather than photographic film.
