Republic Of Peščenica
The Republic of Peščenica (Croatian language, Croatian: Republika Peščenica) was a satirical-parodical project of Croatian Željko Malnar named after the Zagreb neighbourhood of Stara Peščenica, Peščenica. Events were aired on anti-TV-show Nightmare Stage (''Noćna mora''), on Saturdays from 22:00 until the early morning hours on Zagrebačka Televizija, Z1, and transmitted via satellite. Events were described in short version in Malnar's column in the Globus (weekly), Globus magazine from Zagreb. For a short period of time, shortened (and censored) versions of previous shows were aired on Croatian Radiotelevision, Croatian national TV in May 2007 (as "Privremeni tjednik"; only five episodes). It was located in Stara Peščenica, Peščenica, a working-class neighbourhood in Zagreb. Savudrija Bay
The Gulf of Piran or Piran Bay (, or , ) is located in the northern part of the Adriatic Sea, and is a part of the southernmost tip of the Gulf of Trieste. ICTY
The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) was a body of the United Nations that was established to prosecute the war crimes that had been committed during the Yugoslav Wars and to try their perpetrators. The tribunal was an ''ad hoc'' court located in The Hague, Netherlands. It was established by Resolution 827 of the United Nations Security Council, which was passed on 25 May 1993. ''Nightmare Stage by Željko Malnar'' (original title in English, later also in Croatian ''Noćna mora Željka Malnara'') was a late night talk show hosted by maverick traveler and author Željko Malnar. ''Globus'' is a Croatian language weekly news magazine published in Zagreb, Croatia. History and profile ''Globus'' was started in 1990, having some of its first issues published during the Croatian War of Independence. The founders are Ninoslav Pavic, Denis Kuljiš and Zdravko Jurak.
