Reprise Records
Reprise Records is an American record label founded in 1960 by Frank Sinatra. It is owned by Warner Music Group, and operates through Warner Records, one of its flagship labels. Lindsey Buckingham
Lindsey Adams Buckingham (born October 3, 1949) is an American musician, record producer, and the lead guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the Rock music, rock band Fleetwood Mac from 1975 to 1987 and 1997 to 2018. In addition to his tenure with Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham has released seven solo studio albums and three live albums. As a member of Fleetwood Mac, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. Buckingham was ranked 100th in ''Rolling Stone''s 2011 list of "The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time". Ring-a-Ding-Ding!
''Ring-a-Ding-Ding!'' is the twentieth studio album by Frank Sinatra, released on May 7, 1961. It was the inaugural record on Sinatra's Reprise label and, as the initial concept was "an album without ballads", it consisted only of uptempo swing numbers. The title track was written specifically for Sinatra by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen. The song " Have You Met Miss Jones?" was recorded for the album, though left off the final track listing. ''Ring-a-Ding-Ding!'' reached No. 4; it was given favorable reviews by '' Stereo Review'', and, although a similar album ('' Sinatra's Swingin' Session!!!'') was released by Capitol a mere two months prior, ''Ring-A-Ding-Ding!'' managed to maintain a 35-week stay on the charts. Verve Records is an active American record label owned by Universal Music Group (UMG). In music, a reprise ( , ; from the verb 'to resume') is the repetition or reiteration of the opening material later in a composition as occurs in the recapitulation of sonata form, though—originally in the 18th century—was simply any repeated section, such as is indicated by beginning and ending repeat signs.
