René Toft Hansen
René Toft Hansen (born 1 November 1984) is a Danish professional handballer for Bjerringbro-Silkeborg Håndbold and the Denmark men's national handball team, Denmark national team. He is the oldest of 5 siblings, all of which are handball players: His brother Henrik Toft Hansen, Henrik, who also plays for the Denmark national team, and the three younger siblings: Allan Toft Hansen (:da:Allan Toft Hansen, da) of Mors-Thy Håndbold, Majbritt Toft Hansen of Viborg HK and Jeanette Toft Hansen. All five siblings play on the pivot position. Career Hansen made his senior debut for Mors-Thy Håndbold, HF Mors. In 2003, he joined Viborg HK, which had just been relegated to the Danish 1st Division (handball), 1st Division. In 2004, he extended his contract at the club. In the 2006-07, he reached the final of the Danish championship, but lost to GOG Svendborg TGI. In 2007, he joined KIF Kolding, which had bought him. KIF Kolding is a professional handball club based in Kolding, Denmark who competes in the Danish Handball League. KIF Kolding has won the Danish Handball League, Danish Handball Championship a record 14 times. It is a part of the broader sports association Kolding Idræts Forening. The 2014 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the 11th edition of the tournament and held in Denmark from 12–26 January. Majbritt Toft Hansen (born 27 April 1993) is a Danish handball player for SønderjyskE and previously the Danish national team. Mors-Thy Håndbold is a handball club, based in Nykøbing Mors and Thisted, Denmark. Currently, Mors-Thy Håndbold competes in the men's Danish Handball League. Henrik Toft Hansen (born 18 December 1986) is a Danish professional handball player for Mors-Thy Håndbold and the Danish national team. Club career Hansen started his career at Mors-Thy Håndbold, and later moved to Aalborg Håndbold. In 2011, he signed for AG København, where his brother, René Toft Hansen already played.
