The Renault DiET engine also known as "D engine" or "D-Type" is a straight-4 automobile petrol engine from Renault designed to replace the existing Renault Cléon-Fonte engine, Cléon-Fonte engine in the Renault Twingo. History The D Engine was designed because the 1.2-liter Energy Engine with its hemispherical cylinder head and exhaust up to the front of the head could not fit under the hood of the Renault Twingo#First, First generation Twingo. In 1997, new European pollution regulations went into effect. A straight-four engine (also referred to as an inline-four engine) is a four-cylinder Reciprocating engine, piston engine where cylinders are arranged in a line along a common crankshaft. Proton Savvy
The Proton Savvy is a supermini hatchback produced by Malaysian carmaker Proton. The car was introduced in June 2005, as an indirect successor to Proton Tiara. It was discontinued in 2013 due to slow sales compared to the Perodua Myvi. The Renault Wind is a two-seater roadster by the French automobile manufacturer Renault. The Wind was originally a concept car unveiled in September 2004 at the Paris Motor Show as a 2+1 roadster.
