Remedy Entertainment Oyj, trading internationally as Remedy Entertainment Plc, is a Finnish video game developer based in Espoo. Notable games the studio has developed include the first two entries in the ''Max Payne'' franchise, '' Alan Wake'', '' Quantum Break'' and '' Control''. Sam Lake, Remedy's creative director, has represented the company on numerous occasions. Remedy Drive is an American alternative rock band founded in 1998 in Lincoln, Nebraska. They are now based in Nashville, Tennessee, Nashville. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist David Zach, alternating bassists Philip Zach and Dave Mohr, and alternating drummers Timmy Jones and Chris Sooter (with an extended appearance by Nashville-based drummer Tim Buell and occasional appearances by other drummers including Michael Sturd and Zach Hunter). They have recorded seven studio albums (five of them independent music, independent), one independent live album, and two extended play, EPs. ''Remedy'' is the debut studio album by English electronic music duo Basement Jaxx, released in May 1999 by record label XL. The album was very well-received critically, and reached number 4 in the UK Albums Chart. Four singles were released from the album: "Red Alert", " Rendez-Vu", " Jump n' Shout" and " Bingo Bango". Background Concept When Basement Jaxx first rose to stardom, the duo was unsatisfied with the state of dance music, describing it as "linear" and "close-minded".
