Reidar Bøe
Reidar Bøe (7 May 1921 – 9 August 1969) was a Norwegian singer and composer. He was born in Bergen, and is known for his collaboration with Kurt Foss. He made his stage debut at Den nationale scene in 1939, and also participated in radio shows. Bøe and Foss made their record debut in 1947 with the song "Grønlandsvisa". The song "BlÃ¥veispiken", with lyrics by Arne Paasche Aasen, recorded in 1950 by Bøe and accompanied by Foss, sold more than 100,000 copies, and was frequently played in the radio show ''Ønskekonserten'' (listeners' choice). Bergen (, ) is a city and municipalities of Norway, municipality in Vestland county on the Western Norway, west coast of Norway. Kurt Foss
Kurt Foss (1 January 1925 – 17 October 1991) was a Norwegian composer, singer and vaudeville artist. Biography He was born in Bergen, and together with Reidar Bøe Kurt Foss created the hugely popular duo "Radiofantomene" ("The Radio Phantoms") that was active throughout the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Their biggest success was the song " Blåveispiken" ("The Liverwort Girl") with lyrics by Arne Paasche Aasen and which was released in 1950 selling 100,000 records. Den Nationale Scene () is the largest theatre in Bergen, Norway. Den Nationale Scene is also one of the oldest permanent theatres in Norway. History Opened under the name '' Det Norske Theater'' in 1850, the theatre has roots dating back to its founding on the initiative of the Norwegian violinist Ole Bull. The theatre was created to develop Norwegian playwrights. Henrik Ibsen was one of the first writers-in-residences and art-directors of the theatre and it saw the première in Norway of his first contemporary realist drama '' The Pillars of Society'' (''Samfundets støtter'') on 30 November 1877. Arne Paasche Aasen
Arne Paasche Aasen (18 June 1901 – 1 November 1978) was a Norwegian politician, journalist and poet, who worked for the labour movement. He was born in Steinkjer as a son of teacher and politician Augusta Aasen, née Paasche (1878–1920) and typographer Edolf Aasen (1877–1969). The family soon moved to Kristiania. In 1927 he married Valborg "Vaps" Moe (1901–1994). His sister was married to Paul Gauguin for some years. He joined the Norwegian Labour Party at an early age. His mother was a central figure here before her early death. Aasen was also a member of the Left Communist Youth League and was present at the congress of 24 April 1927 when the Left Communist Youth League was merged with the Socialist Youth League to found the Workers' Youth League. His poetic debut came in 1921 with the collection ''Sigd og hammer'' ("Sickle and Hammer"), where he hailed the revolution and Vladimir Lenin.
