Regional Civil Service Development Institute
The Regional Civil Service Development Institute () is the agency of the Directorate-General of Personnel Administration of the Executive Yuan of the Taiwan (ROC) responsible for the training of local public servants. History The institute was originally established in July 1956 as Taiwan Province Training Corps in Taipei. In May 1997, it was renamed to Department of Civil Human Resources, Training and Development and moved to Zhongxing New Village, Nantou City, Nantou County. In July 1999, it was finally renamed as Regional Civil Service Development Institute ( zh, t=行政院人事行政總處地方行政研習中心). Nantou City
Nantou City ( Mandarin Pīnyīn: ''Nántóu Shì''; Hokkien POJ: ''Lâm-tâu-chhī'') is a county-administered city located in the northwest of Nantou County, Taiwan. It lies between the Bagua Mountains and the Maoluo River and is the county seat of Nantou County. Freeway No. 3 serves Nantou City. Nantou County
Nantou is the second largest County (Taiwan), county of Taiwan by area, located in the central part of the country. It is also the only non-coastal county in Taiwan. Zhongxing New Village
Zhongxing New Village, sometimes rendered as Chunghsing New Village is an urban village located in Nantou City, Nantou County, Taiwan (ROC) and was the seat of government of Taiwan Province until the abolition of the Taiwan Provincial Government in 2018. The term ''zhōngxīng'' is from a Chinese legend (), referring to the restoration of the Xia dynasty by king Shao Kang, an allusion to the ROC government taking back mainland China. The Examination Yuan is the civil service commission branch in charge of validating the qualification of civil servants of the government of the Republic of China (Taiwan). It has a president, a vice president, and seven to nine members, all of whom are nominated by the president of the republic and confirmed by the Legislative Yuan for four-year terms according to Republic of China laws.
