Paul Martin (director)
Paul Martin (8 February 1899 – 26 January 1967) was a Hungarian film director and screenwriter who worked for many years in the German film industry. He directed 60 films between 1932 and 1967. He was romantically involved with the film star Lilian Harvey and directed her in a number of films until he left her in 1938 for the actress Frauke Lauterbach. They made one final film ''Woman at the Wheel'' together during the filming of which their relationship remained cold. Otto Gebühr (29 May 1877 – 13 March 1954) was a German theatre and film actor, who appeared in 102 films released between 1917 and 1954. He is noted for his performance as the Prussian king Frederick the Great in numerous films. Siegfried Breuer (24 June 1906 – 1 February 1954) was an Austrian stage actor, stage and film actor and occasional film director and screenwriter. Biography Born in Vienna, Siegried was the son of Hans Breuer (tenor), Hans Breuer (1868 or 1870–1929), who was an opera singer and actor from Cologne. Performing was in the blood and he studied at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, some time in the early 1920s and made his stage debut at the Volkstheater, Vienna in 1924. After some 15 years of stage acting he made his screen debut in a film called ''Eins zu Eins'' in 1939 where he went on to star in over 50 films between 1939 and 1954. Hans Richter (12 January 1919 – 5 October 2008) was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1931 and 1984, mostly in supporting roles. He was born in Brandenburg, Germany and died in Heppenheim, Germany. Life and career Hans Richter made his film debut as "Fliegender Hirsch" in Gerhard Lamprecht's ''Emil and the Detectives'' (1931), based on the novel of the same name by Erich Kästner. In the following years, Richter become a popular juvenile actor; often playing clever, somewhat cheeky boys (a type similar to Mickey Rooney in the American film during the 1930s). When he reached legal age, he had appeared in over 50 films.
