Red Bull–BORA–hansgrohe (''UCI Code'': RBH) is a UCI WorldTeam cycling team established in 2010 with a German license, founded and managed by Ralph Denk. It is sponsored by global energy drinks brand Red Bull, BORA, a German manufacturer of extractor hoods and cooktops, and Hansgrohe, a bathroom fittings manufacturer. Its aim is "improving the image of road cycling in Germany". History The team was formed in 2010 as Team NetApp, a UCI Continental Team with 14 riders. It was promoted to ProContinental Team status after the first season. For the 2013 season, Team NetApp and British based merged to form NetApp-Endura. The team's 2013 roster consisted of eight riders from Endura, and 12 riders from Team NetApp, as well as NetApp bringing the Pro Continental licence. Alexander Wetterhall
Alexander Wetterhall (born 12 April 1986) is a Swedish road bicycle racer and mountain biker. Career Born in Gislaved, Wetterhall was born with dysmelia of his feet, which needed several surgeries to be corrected. He first competed as a professional in 2011, competing for prior to the squad's merger with for the 2013 season. He was the winner of the Swedish National Time Trial Championships in 2009, and 2016. Wetterhall is also a former winner of the Rás Tailteann, and the Ronde van Drenthe races. For the 2014 season, Wetterhall joined the new Firefighters Upsala CK team. Peter Sagan
Peter Sagan (; born 26 January 1990) is a Slovak former professional cyclist who competed in road bicycle racing and mountain bicycle racing. Sagan had a successful junior cyclo-cross and mountain bike racing career, winning the junior cross-country race at the 2008 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships, before moving to road racing. He ended his cycling career in 2024. Sagan is considered a generational talent, having earned many prestigious victories out of a total of 121 professional wins. His most notable achievements were an unprecedented three consecutive men's road race World Championships from 2015-2017 inclusive, and his record seven Points classifications in the Tour de France. Cyclo-cross Superprestige
The Cyclo-cross Superprestige is a season-long cyclo-cross competition, consisting of around 8 rounds throughout the season in Belgium and the Netherlands. It is one of three major season-long competitions, alongside the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup and the Cyclo-cross Trophy. A season consist of several races in the categories Elite Men and Elite Women. Riders can win points in each race and at the end of the season the rider with the highest point tally in each category is considered the winner. Until 2020 Superprestige had separate classification for Under 23 Men, Under-23 Women and Junior Men. The first Superprestige took place in 1982–1983 and was won by Hennie Stamsnijder of the Netherlands. The Superprestige is organised for trade teams, not national teams. The UCI WorldTour is the premier men's elite road cycling tour, sitting above the UCI ProSeries and various regional UCI Continental Circuits. It refers to both the tour of 38 events and, until 2019, an annual ranking system based upon performances in these. The 2014 Tour de France was the 101st edition of the race, one of cycling's Grand Tours. The race included 21 stages, starting in Leeds, Yorkshire, United Kingdom, on 5 July and finishing on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on 27 July. The race also visited Belgium for part of a stage. Zakkari Dempster (born 27 September 1987) was an Australian former professional racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2006 and 2019 for the SouthAustralia.com–AIS, , , , and teams. Scott Christopher Thwaites (born 12 February 1990) is a British cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProSeries, UCI ProTeam . Russell Downing
Russell Downing (born 23 August 1978) is an English former professional cyclist, who rode competitively between 1999 and 2019 for numerous teams, such as and . He is the younger brother of fellow cyclist Dean Downing, and both brothers competed largely on the UCI Continental Tour and in British Premier Calendar races. Career Downing was born into a bike racing family: as well as his older brother, his father was also a bicycle racer.
