Ray Cokes
Ray Cokes (born Raymond Christopher Cokes on 24 February 1958) is an English television presenter. Career Early life Ray's father was an officer in the Royal Navy, who was stationed at various navy bases around the world. When Ray was 15 the family permanently resettled back to Britain. At age 20, Ray moved to Belgium, where he took on various jobs, including DJ on a local radio station. This led to a job as a music presenter on Belgian national TV channel RTBF, where he presented the show ''Rox Box'' in 1982. With growing reputation, more music video shows followed on Sky Channel and Music Box. When MTV Europe launched in 1987 he became a video jockey mainly co-presenting alongside Marcel Vanthilt. ''MTV's Most Wanted'' Between 1992 and 1995, Cokes hosted MTV Europe's live television series ''MTV's Most Wanted'', an award-winning daily show which soon became the most popular on channel with its zoo TV format. Poperinge
Poperinge (; french: Poperinghe, ； vls, Poperienge) is a city and municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders, Flemish Region, and has a history going back to medieval times. The municipality comprises the town of Poperinge proper and surrounding villages. The area is famous for its hops and lace. The town Poperinge is situated about 13 km (8 miles) to the west of Ypres (Ieper). The region is famous for growing hops and furnishes 80% of Belgian production. The town is home to the national hop museum and is called "hops city", ''hoppe stad'' in Dutch, a play on ''hoofd stad'', the word for capital. Die Toten Hosen (literally "The Dead Trousers", figuratively "The Deadbeats") is a German punk rock band from Düsseldorf. History The current members of Die Toten Hosen are Campino (Andreas Frege), Kuddel (Andreas von Holst), Vom (Stephen Ritchie), Andi (Andreas Meurer) and Breiti (Michael Breitkopf). All members except one are German, though Campino's mother, Jenny, was English. The drummer Vom comes from England. He joined in 1999, after previous drummer Wölli sustained injuries in a car crash. Wölli had played from 1985 to 1999 and was an honorary member of the band until his death in 2016. The drummer until 1985 was Trini Trimpop, who became the band's manager when Wölli joined. ''Wanted'' was a British 1990s game show on Channel 4, although more similar to modern reality television than the classic gameshow format. Conceptually, it was similar to an advanced game of hide and seek. It is also somewhat similar to the game show featured in Stephen King's novel '' The Running Man''.
