Punjab (, ) is a province of Pakistan. With a population of over 127 million, it is the most populous province in Pakistan and the second most populous subnational polity in the world. Located in the central-eastern region of the country, it has the largest economy, contributing the most to national GDP in Pakistan. Lahore is the capital and largest city of the province. Murree District
Murree, ( Punjabi/) is a district of the Rawalpindi Division in the northernmost part of the Pakistani province of Punjab. It was created out of Rawalpindi District in 2022 and consists of two tehsils, Kotli Sattian and Murree. Administrative division Demographics Population As of the 2023 census, Murree district has 66,187 households and a population of 372,947. The district has a sex ratio of 101.18 males to 100 females and a literacy rate of 85.90%: 92.13% for males and 79.52% for females. 82,063 (22.19% of the surveyed population) are under 10 years of age. 48,729 (13.07%) live in urban areas. Bhurban
Bhurban () is a small town and a hill station in Muree District, Punjab, Pakistan on the edge of Hazara, Pakistan. The resort town is named after a nearby forest. It is located approximately from Murree city. Location Bhurban is situated in between Murree and Kashmir Road at a height of about 6000 feet. It has recently been made accessible by the dual Islamabad-Murree Expressway, approximately a 50 km drive from Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan.
