Ravindra Jain
Ravindra Jain (28 February 1944 – 9 October 2015) was an Indian music composer, lyricist and playback singer. He started his career in the early 1970s by composing for several hit movies. His notable works include '' Chor Machaye Shor'' (1974), '' Geet Gaata Chal'' (1975), '' Chitchor'' (1976) and '' Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se'' (1978), '' Nadiya Ke Paar'' (1982), '' Ram Teri Ganga Maili'' (1985) and '' Vivah'' (2006). He composed music for many films and TV shows including Ramanand Sagar's epic '' Ramayan'' (1987), which became iconic. He was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award of the Republic of India in 2015 for his contribution to arts. Aligarh (; formerly known as Koil) is a city in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. ''Vivah'' () is a 2006 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film, written and directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya. Yesudas
Kattassery Joseph Yesudas ( /jeːʃud̪aːs/; born 10 January 1940) is an Indian playback singer and musician who sings Indian classical, devotional and film songs. He is widely considered one of the greatest singers in the history of Indian music and a cultural icon of Kerala. ''Henna'' is a 1991 Indian romance drama film, written by Khwaja Ahmad Abbas, produced and directed by Randhir Kapoor. It stars Rishi Kapoor, along with Pakistani actress Zeba Bakhtiyar in the title role and Ashwini Bhave. The Jains in India are the last direct representatives of the ancient Shramana tradition. People who practice Jainism, an ancient religion of the Indian subcontinent, are collectively referred to as Jains.
