Rauno Esa Nieminen (born June 6, 1955) is a doctor of music 2008, a master of musical instrument building 2006, designer (University of Applied Sciences) 2001, teacher of Arts and Crafts 1991, writer, artist, researcher and musician. The work of Musical Instrument Builder and Musician started in 1978 Vilppula, Kolho village. He taught guitar building at Ikaalinen Craft and Applied Arts School during 1984–2018. He is still a teacher at Sibelius Academy and University of the Arts Helsinki. The subject of the dissertation was ''Soitinten tutkiminen rakentamalla – Esimerkkinä jouhikko (Studying Musical Instruments by Building Them – The Jouhikko as an Example)''. Rauno Suominen
Rauno Suominen (20 April 1939 – 6 July 2018) was a Finnish tennis player and coach. Career Suominen represented the Finland Davis Cup team in four Davis Cup ties, from 1965 to 1972. His first match was the 1965 Europe Zone first round tie against Austria. During his Davis Cup career, he won one of the five singles match and was on the losing side in all 3 doubles matches that he played. Suominen served as national coach for the Finland Tennis Association from 1971 to 1972 and 1977 to 1979. He relocated to the United States in 1972 to become Head Professional at the Four Seasons Racquet Club in Williamsville from 1972 to 1976 and again from 1979 to 1980. In 1993, he began working as an independent pro in Salt Lake City. Suominen died of motor neuron disease in 2018. Rauno Saunavaara is a paralympic athlete from Finland competing mainly in category F54 javelin events. Biography Rauno has competed in the javelin at the Paralympics three occasions winning a medal on each occasion. His first performance came in 1996 Summer Paralympics where he won a silver medal in the F53 class, he also competed in the shot put but failed to medal in this. Rauno Sappinen (born 23 January 1996) is an Estonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Flora and the Estonia national team. Club career Flora Sappinen came through the youth system at Flora and made his debut in the Meistriliiga on 2 March 2013, in a 4–1 home win over Tallinna Kalev. He won his first Meistriliiga title in the 2015 season. Sappinen's performances in 2015 also saw him voted Estonian Young Footballer of the Year. He was Flora's top goalscorer in the league for three consecutive seasons from 2015 to 2017, and joint top scorer in the Meistriliiga in 2017, alongside Albert Prosa. Rauno Pehka (born 1 January 1969) is a retired Estonian professional basketball player who played mostly at the point guard position. He won the Soviet Union league championship in 1991 as a member of the Tallinn Kalev basketball team. Pehka mostly played in Estonia. After retiring Rauno Pehka has been working as a national teams' youth coach. Rauno Nurger
Rauno Nurger (born 24 November 1993) is an Estonian basketball player for Tartu Ülikool of the Korvpalli Meistriliiga. He is a tall power forward and center. Nurger played college basketball for the Wichita State Shockers. High school career Nurger played for Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas. He averaged 10 points and 9 rebounds for the postgraduate team during 2013–14 season. College career Nurger originally signed with Ole Miss but was released from his letter of intent following a coaching change. He then committed to Wichita State in the early summer of 2014. In his freshman year Nurger appeared in 24 games off the bench, averaging 2.3 points and 1.2 rebounds in 8.8 minutes. He scored four points in his collegiate debut against New Mexico State on November 11, 2014, and also played a season-high 20 minutes.
