Rantau Panjang
Rantau Panjang ( Kelantanese: ''Ghata Panjey''; Thai: รันเตาปันจัง) is a ''mukim'' (subdistrict/commune) and also a parliamentary constituency in Pasir Mas District, Kelantan, Malaysia, located next to the Thai border. The town of Su-ngai Kolok is situated adjacent to Rantau Panjang, right across the Golok River. Both towns are linked via the Rantau Panjang-Sungai Golok Bridge, popularly known as the Harmony Bridge ( Malay: ''Jambatan Muhibbah''). Golok River
The Golok River (, , ; ) is a river that lies on the border between Malaysia and Thailand. The name of the river in Malay means 'river of machete'. The river borders the Malaysian state of Kelantan and the Thai province of Narathiwat. The friendship bridge connects the Malaysian town of Rantau Panjang and the Thai town of Su-ngai Kolok. Rantau Panjang is a duty-free zone. Further upstream, a new friendship bridge connects the town of Bukit Bunga on the Malaysian side with the Thai town of Ban Buketa. Pengkalan Kubor
Pengkalan Kubor ( Kelantanese: ''Kaley Kubo'', Jawi: ڤڠكالن قبور) is a small coastal border town in Tumpat District, Kelantan, Malaysia, bordering Tak Bai, Narathiwat, Thailand across the estuary of the Golok River. Along with Rantau Panjang to its southwest, Pengkalan Kubor is a popular place for duty-free shopping. Geography Pengkalan Kubor is situated on the northern extremity of Kelantan, on the eastern bank of the Golok River mouth. The Golok acts as a natural international boundary between the state on the Malaysian side and the province of Narathiwat on the Thai side. The town of Tak Bai sits right across the river. Rantau Panjang-Sungai Golok Bridge
Rantau (Chinese: 晏斗) is a small town and a mukim in Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Location Rantau is 16 km south of downtown Seremban, 20 km northeast of Port Dickson and 49 km southeast of Kajang, Selangor. It is surrounded by several hamlets including Kuala Sawah, Siliau, Pedas and Ayer Kuning, and is the main town in the region with facilities like banks, mini market, quick-service restaurants and a post office. Sungai Kolok (, ) is a border town and subdistrict on the Malaysia-Thailand Border in Sungai Kolok District, Narathiwat Province, Thailand. It is one of the largest and most prosperous districts in Narathiwat Province. It is also one of the major economic centers in the southern part of Thailand.
