Ramla Prison
Ayalon Prison (), formerly known as Ramla Prison, is a maximum-security prison located in Ramla, Israel. It is managed by the Israel Prison Service. The prison was opened in 1950, and was built in the style of the Tegart forts from the British Mandate era. It is one of four high-security criminal prisons operated by the Israel Prison Service. Ayalon Prison has 625 cells divided into 15 wings, including an isolation wing for prisoners in solitary confinement. It has an educational center with six classrooms for primary education and classes for English, computers and art. The prison also has facilities for meditation, sports, parenting, and drug rehabilitation, in addition to eight factories which employ inmates and a radio station operated by inmates selected and trained to broadcast rehabilitative and educational content to all other prisons in Israel. Ramla
Ramla (), also known as Ramle (, ), is a city in the Central District of Israel. Ramle is one of Israel's mixed cities, with significant numbers of both Jews and Arabs. The city was founded in the early 8th century CE by the Umayyad caliph Sulayman ibn Abd al-Malik as the capital of Jund Filastin, the district he governed in Bilad al-Sham before becoming caliph in 715. Ben Zygier () was an Australian-Israeli citizen who was a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces and allegedly an agent of Mossad. Yitzhak Rabin
Yitzhak Rabin (; , ; 1 March 1922 – 4 November 1995) was an Israeli politician, statesman and general. He was the prime minister of Israel, serving two terms in office, 1974–1977, and from 1992 until Assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, his assassination in 1995. Rabin was born in Jerusalem to Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe and was raised in a Labor Zionist household. He learned agriculture in school and excelled as a student. Yigal Amir
Yigal Amir (born May 31, 1970) is an Israeli right-wing extremist who assassinated the incumbent prime minister of Israel, Yitzhak Rabin on November 4, 1995, at the conclusion of a rally in Tel Aviv, Israel. At the time of the murder, he was a law student at Bar-Ilan University. Amir is serving a life sentence for murder plus six years for injuring Rabin's bodyguard. He was later sentenced to an additional eight years for conspiracy to murder. Amir has never expressed regret over the assassination. During World War II, Trawniki men (; ) were Eastern European Nazi collaborators, consisting of either volunteers or recruits from Prisoner of war, prisoner-of-war camps set up by Nazi Germany for Red Army, Soviet Red Army soldiers captured in the border regions during Operation Barbarossa launched in June 1941. Thousands of these volunteers served in the General Government territory of Occupation of Poland (1939–1945), German-occupied Poland until the end of World War II. John Demjanjuk
John Demjanjuk (), born Ivan Mykolaiovych Demjanjuk (), was a Trawniki and Nazi camp guard at Sobibor extermination camp, Majdanek, and Flossenbürg. Demjanjuk became the center of global media attention in the 1980s, when he was tried and convicted in Israel after being identified as "Ivan the Terrible", a notoriously cruel watchman at Treblinka extermination camp. In 1993, the verdict was overturned. Shortly before his death, he was tried and convicted in the Federal Republic of Germany as an accessory to the 28,060 murders that occurred during his service at Sobibor. They Must Go is an English-language book created by Rabbi Meir Kahane in 1981 and published via Grosset & Dunlap. Plot and history The rising Arab population in Israel, a country that should be a Jewish-only to major Jewish majority country according to Meir Kahane's ideology of Kahanism, is a call for concern by Meir Kahane dealing with the aspirations of the formation of a non-Arab Israel calling the allowing of Arabs to live in Israel a "national suicide". In the book, Kahane calls for a permanent and non-negotiable Jewish majority and an insignificant Arab minority while maintaining the Arab minority as second class citizens through an apartheid-like system.
