Ramiro Prialé
Ramiro Abelardo Prialé Prialé (January 6, 1904 – February 27, 1988) was a Peruvian politician. A member of the American Popular Revolutionary Alliance, he was a friend of Víctor Raúl Haya De La Torre. He served as the President of the Congress of the Republic of Peru, President of the Senate from July 1964 to July 1965, and from July 1987 until his death. Several roads and places in Lima are named for him. Biography Prialé was born in Huancayo on January 6, 1904. He was the son of Pedro Sixto Prialé Ráez and Edelmira Prialé Morales. He did his school studies at the Colegio Nacional Santa Isabel de Huancayo. He married Carmen Luzmila Jaime Torres, with whom he would have five children: Ramiro Alfonso, Raquel Edelmira, Pedro José, Víctor Gustavo and Carmen Luzmila. The National University of San Marcos (, UNMSM) is a public university, public research university located in Lima, the capital of Peru. In the Americas, it is the first officially established (Privilege (legal ethics), privilege by Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) and the List of oldest universities in continuous operation#Latin America and the Caribbean, oldest continuously operating university. Mercedes Cabanillas
Mercedes Cabanillas Bustamante (born May 22, 1947) is a Peruvian educator and politician. A prominent member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, she served as Minister of Education in the first presidency of Alan García, making her the first woman to assume a cabinet position in the history of Peru. Most recently, she briefly served as Minister of Interior in Alan García's second presidency, a position subject to scrutiny as she was signaled as responsible of the repression of natives in the 2009 Amazon crisis, in Bagua, which forced her to resign, and effectively ended her political career. Throughout most of her political career, Cabanillas served as a congresswoman in a variety of non-consecutive terms between 1985 and 2011. Carlos Roca Cáceres
Carlos Roca Cáceres (born 20 March 1946) is a Peruvian politician. A prominent member of the Peruvian Aprista Party, he was signaled in his youth as one of Víctor Raúl Haya de la Torre's main disciples, alongside future President of Peru, Alan García. In his political career, he served in the Constituent Assembly of 1978–1979, which drafted the Constitution of 1979, in the now-abolished Chamber of Deputies, and finally as Peruvian Ambassador to Italy, appointed in Alan García's second presidency. Antonieta Zevallos De Prialé
Antonieta Zevallos Núñez de Prialé (1918/1919 – 8 August 2006) was a Peruvian politician who served in the Chamber of Deputies from 1980 until 1985, representing Lima as a member of the Peruvian Aprista Party. Her husband Ramiro Prialé was one of the founders and most prominent figures of the party. Biography Antonieta Zevallos de Prialé was born in 1918 or 1919. In 1945, she met Ramiro Prialé, the leader of the Peruvian Aprista Party, and the couple married later that year. Zevallos served as a key advisor to her husband, and founded the women's wing of the party.
