Raków, Częstochowa
Raków is a district of Częstochowa, Poland, located in the south-eastern part of the city. The football club Raków Częstochowa was founded and is based in Raków. History A Lusatian culture cemetery from around 750 BC–550 BC is located in Raków and it is now an Archaeological Reserve, a branch of the Częstochowa Museum. It was discovered in 1955. In 1896–1902, the ''Huta Częstochowa'' steelworks were built in Raków. Raków soon evolved into an industrial settlement. Raków was included within the city limits of Częstochowa as a new district in 1928. Following the joint German-Soviet invasion of Poland, which started World War II in September 1939, Raków was occupied by Germany until 1945. Częstochowa
Częstochowa ( , ) is a city in southern Poland on the Warta with 214,342 inhabitants, making it the thirteenth-largest city in Poland. It is situated in the Silesian Voivodeship. However, Częstochowa is historically part of Lesser Poland, not Silesia, and before the Partitions of Poland, 1795 Partition of Poland, it belonged to the Kraków Voivodeship (14th century – 1795), Kraków Voivodeship. 2020–21 Polish Cup
The 2020–21 Polish Cup was the 67th season of the annual Polish football knockout tournament. It began on 8 August 2020 with the first matches of the preliminary round and ended with the final on 2 May 2021 at Arena Lublin. The 2020–21 edition of the Polish Cup was sponsored by Fortuna, making the official name Fortuna Puchar Polski. Winners of the competition qualified for the second qualifying round of the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. The Polish Cup in Association football, football ( ) is an annual Single-elimination tournament, knockout football competition for Polish football club (association football), football clubs, held continuously since 1950, and is the second most important national title in Polish football after the Ekstraklasa title. Due to mass participation of teams, the tournament is often called ''The Cup of the Thousand Teams'' ( ). Participation is open to any club registered with the PZPN, Polish FA, regardless of whether it competes in any league in the national pyramid or not. HASAG
HASAG (also known as Hugo Schneider AG, or by its original name in ) was a German metal goods manufacturer founded in 1863. Based in Leipzig, it grew from a small business making lamps and other small metal products by hand into a large factory and publicly traded company that sold its wares in several countries. During the Second World War, Hasag became a Nazi arms-manufacturing conglomerate with dozens of factories across German-occupied Europe using slave labour on a massive scale.
