Raja Nazhatul Shima binti Almarhum Sultan Idris A’fifullah Shah ( Jawi: راج نزهة السماء بنت المرحوم سلطان إدريس عفيف الله شاه; born ) is a member of the Perak royal family who is the ''Raja Puan Besar'' (Crown Princess) of Perak as the wife of Raja Jaafar, the ''Raja Muda'' (Crown Prince) of Perak. Affectionately known as ''Ku Dottie'', she is the first child and eldest daughter of the late Sultan Idris Al-Mutawakil Alallahi Shah of Perak and the late Raja Perempuan Muzwin. Early life and education Raja Nazhatul Shima was born on 20 February 1952 as the eighth of the fourteen children of Sultan Idris Al-Mutawakil Alallahi Shah of Perak and Raja Perempuan Muzwin. Kuala Kangsar (Perak Malay: ) is the royal town of Perak, Malaysia. Sultan Sir Idris Murshidul Azzam Shah Ibni Almarhum Raja Bendahara Alang Iskandar Marhum Teja ( Jawi: ; 19 June 1849 − 14 January 1916) was the 28th Sultan of Perak. Perak at that time was part of the British-administered Federated Malay States. His rule was marked by Perak joining the Federated Malay States, a federation of four protected states in the Malay Peninsula, including Selangor, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang, established by the British government in 1895, which lasted until 1946. The ''New Straits Times'' is an English-language newspaper published in Malaysia.
