RahXephon
is a Japanese anime television series created and directed by Yutaka Izubuchi. The series follows 17-year-old Ayato Kamina, his ability to control a mecha known as the RahXephon, and his inner journey to find a place in the world. His life as a student and artist in Tokyo is suddenly interrupted by a mysterious stalker, strange planes invading the city and strange machines fighting back. The series was animated by Bones (studio), Bones and it aired on Fuji TV for twenty-six episodes from January to September 2002. It was produced by Fuji TV, Bones, Media Factory and Victor Entertainment. The series received critical acclaim and was subsequently translated, released on the DVD-Video, DVD and aired in several other countries, including the United States. Ichiko Hashimoto (musician)
is a jazz pianist, composer and singer. She has also acted in television and film. Hashimoto was born in Kobe, grew up in Tokyo and started playing the piano at the age of five. is a Japanese animation studio, with headquarters located in Igusa, Suginami, Tokyo. Yutaka Izubuchi
is a Japanese anime mecha and character designer, anime director, illustrator and manga artist. He was born in Tokyo, Japan and grew up in Yokohama. Izubuchi is also known for his manga and illustrations, but most of his fame comes from his design work. He mainly designs robots and other mecha in anime works, while he designs characters and creatures in Tokusatsu productions. He is also interested in dress design, especially German military uniforms, and by extension European armor. This influence is also evident in the design of mecha and the costumes of the characters. The design of robots such as ''Gundam'' and '' Galient'' incorporates the image of armour, and the character costume designs he is entrusted with are mainly military uniforms and other uniforms. Mitsuo Iso
is a Japanese animator and director. He worked as a freelance artist through Neomedia, Studio Zaendo, and Studio Ghibli. When he participates in anime works as an animator, he sometimes uses aliases such as Mikio Odagawa and Hideo Tateda, or does not give his name. Masahiko Minami
is a Japanese anime producer and president of Bones. Early life Minami was born in Mie Prefecture, Japan. Career A graduate of the Osaka University of Arts's department of arts, Minami joined the noted anime studio Sunrise in 1984, where he began his career as one of its producers. Later, in 1998, he co-founded Bones together with animators Hiroshi Osaka and Toshihiro Kawamoto. He was classmates in university with Gainax co-founder Hiroyuki Yamaga and manga artist Kazuhiko Shimamoto.
