Rafael Gaúcho
Rafael Pompeo Rodrigues Ledesma (born 31 December 1982), more commonly known as Gaúcho or Rafael Ledesma, is a Brazilian former footballer. He was signed by FBK Kaunas from Atlético Mineiro in summer 2006. After two seasons in FBK Kaunas he moved to Partizan Minsk in Belarus. In winter 2012 he moved back to Lithuania and played for Suduva. In 2013 Ledesma left Lithuania and signed with Ethnikos Achna in Cyprus. In January 2019 he returned to Lithuania and became a member of FK Panevėžys. In 2019 he played 28 matches in A Lyga and scored 6 goals. After season he left FK Panevėžys. FC Vitebsk (, ) is a Belarusian football club based in Vitebsk. The club plays in the Belarusian Premier League, the top division in Belarusian football. Their home stadium is Vitebsky Central Sport Complex. History The club was founded in 1960 as Krasnoye Znamya Vitebsk (''Red Flag Vitebsk''). Baltic League
The Baltic League (officially known as the Triobet Baltic League) was a Baltic men's football club tournament held four times between the top club sides from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Launched in 2007 inspired by the now defunct Scandinavian tournament Royal League and by the Baltic Basketball League. History The first two tournaments were held between top four club sides from each country. For 2009–10 the competition was expanded to 16 teams, with five sides from every Baltic state taking part. Lithuanian Football Cup
The Lithuanian Football Federation Cup (), also known as Hegelmann LFF Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a Lithuanian football cup competition contested in a knockout tournament format. The winner of the cup gains entitlement to participate in the Lithuanian Supercup as well as the UEFA Europa Conference League. Participation is mandatory for the clubs playing in A Lyga and I Lyga. Participation is voluntary for all lower division teams as long as they meet basic eligibility criteria. Club reserve and youth teams are not eligible to participate. The Lithuanian A Lyga 2008 was the 19th season of top-tier football in Lithuania. The season started on 29 March 2008 and ended on 16 November 2008. The league had to reduce the number of its teams from ten to nine prior to this season due to lacking of team able to earn promotion (see below). Shortly before the start of the season, Vilnius withdrew from participating in the league because of unknown reasons, leaving the league with 8 competing teams. The A Lyga is the top division of professional football in Lithuania. It is organized by Lithuanian Football Federation (LFF) (). History The first football league was established in Lithuania in 1924, and in various forms existed until 1939. Due to the Polish–Lithuanian War, clubs from Vilnius did not take part in early period of the Lithuanian football competitions. Later during the period of Soviet occupation, a Lithuanian amateur top division existed, while professional players played in USSR football competitions.
