Rae Wilson
Rae Wilson is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Alice Barlow. She appeared in the series from 5 October 2009 until 13 September 2011. Actress Helen Russell-Clark – who went on to play Jem Costello – originally auditioned for the role, but the part was awarded to Barlow. Producer Lucy Allan said Barlow was her favourite addition to the cast during 2009. She made her final appearance on 13 September 2011. Initially portrayed as an imaginary character in a schizophrenia storyline, Rae was later revealed to be real when she arrived to study in Hollyoaks. She was central to a controversial suicide storyline, and was part of a love triangle with Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) and Brendan Brady ( Emmett J. Scanlan), which left her pregnant by Ste. Alice Barlow
Alice Barlow is an English actress and singer who portrayed Rae Wilson in the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. Career While a teenager Barlow won a national talent search Festival4Stars. In 2008, Barlow took part 'The Stobart Factor' a talent competition, which was judged by ''The X Factor'' judge Louis Walsh. Walsh gave Barlow positive comments on her singing and told her she had 'style'. Alice went on to win the competition and won £10,000, in which she put towards an Invisalign to straighten her teeth. In October 2009, Alice made her television debut as Rae Wilson in Channel 4's soap-opera, ''Hollyoaks''. Holy Soap is a UK television and entertainment website founded in June 2009 by the British television company Channel 5. The website is the official UK home of the Australian soap operas '' Home and Away'' and '' Neighbours'', which are broadcast on the channel. The site allows users to watch full episodes of the soaps on the day they are broadcast, as well as providing additional information about the cast and characters. Nico Cristian Mirallegro ( ; born 26 January 1991) is an English actor. Barry "Newt" Newton is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Nico Mirallegro. He debuted on-screen during the episode airing on 22 October 2007. He was introduced as the serial's first emo character and as the foster son of Jack (Jimmy McKenna) and Frankie Osborne ( Helen Pearson).
