Rae Ingram
Rae Ingram (born 6 December 1974) is an English former professional footballer and sports masseur. As a player, he was a defender, who played 152 league games in a ten-year career in the English Football League and Premier League. He began his career at Manchester City in July 1993 and made 21 appearances over the next five years. He was loaned out to Macclesfield Town in March 1993 and helped the "Silkmen" to promotion out of the Third Division in 1997–98. He joined the club permanently in July 1998 before moving to Port Vale in June 2001. He left Vale Park in May 2003 and spent one season in the Welsh Premier League with Bangor City before announcing his retirement. After retiring as a player, he became a fireman and a sports masseur at Macclesfield Town. Brian Horton
Brian "Nobby" Horton (born 4 February 1949) is an English former footballer and manager. He spent 16 years as a professional player and 22 years as a manager, making 689 appearances and managing 1,098 matches. In addition to this he spent four years as a semi-professional player and around 11 years as a coach and assistant manager. Horton played at wing-half, though was forced to find employment as a builder after being released from Walsall's youth-team in 1966. He joined Hednesford Town in the West Midlands (Regional) League, winning the Staffordshire Senior Cup in his final appearance for the club in 1970. He turned professional in signing with Port Vale of the English Football League in July 1970. Moss Rose
Moss Rose, known as The Leasing.com Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Macclesfield, Cheshire, England, which is the home ground of Macclesfield F.C., and the former home of Macclesfield Town, a club wound up in September 2020. The stadium, south of the town centre, is on the west side of the A523 London Road. The capacity is currently restricted to 4,720 by Cheshire East Council. It was built in 1891, making it one of the oldest grounds in England. Sammy McIlroy
Samuel Baxter McIlroy (born 2 August 1954) is a Northern Irish retired footballer who played for Manchester United, Stoke City, Manchester City, Örgryte (Sweden), Bury, VfB Mödling (Austria), Preston North End and the Northern Ireland national team. After playing, he managed several English football teams and the Northern Ireland national team, gaining most success with Macclesfield Town. Steve Coppell
Stephen James Coppell (born 9 July 1955) is an English professional football manager and former player. As a player, he was a highly regarded right winger known for his speed and work rate. He won domestic honours with Manchester United and represented England at the World Cup. After a knee injury ended his playing career, he went into management. He has managed several English clubs, most notably Crystal Palace and Reading, both of which he took from the English second tier to achieve each club's greatest-ever successes in the top flight. Frank Clark (footballer)
Frank Clark (born 9 September 1943) is an English former footballer and manager, and former chairman of Nottingham Forest. Clark played in over 400 games for Newcastle United before moving to Nottingham Forest where he won the European Cup. After retiring as a player, he managed Leyton Orient for nine years (followed by a two-year spell as the club's managing director) and then returned to Nottingham Forest as manager between 1993 and 1996. Alan James Ball (12 May 1945 – 25 April 2007) was an English professional football player and manager. He was the youngest member of England's 1966 World Cup winning team and played as a midfielder for various clubs, scoring more than 180 league goals in a career spanning 22 years.
