Radim Nečas (footballer Born 1988)
Radim Nečas (born 26 August 1969) is a Czech football manager and former player. He played for the Czech Republic four times between 1995 and 2000. Nečas made more than 300 top-flight appearances spanning the existence of the Czechoslovak First League and the Czech First League. He also played top-flight football in Greece and Slovakia. Nečas became the most expensive player in the history of Czech football in 1992 when Slavia Prague signed him from Baník Ostrava for 25 million Czechoslovak koruna. Playing career Club Nečas started his professional career at Baník Ostrava in 1987, where he played for five years. One of the highlights of Nečas' time at Ostrava was scoring from a free kick at Bazaly in the first round of the 1990–91 UEFA Cup against Aston Villa. Valtice (; ) is a town in Břeclav District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 3,600 inhabitants. The Czech Cup (), officially known as the MOL Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the major men's football cup competition in the Czech Republic. It is organised by the Czech Football Association. The Czech Cup was first held in 1961. The winner would then face the winner of the Slovak Cup in the Czechoslovak Cup final. The Czechoslovak Cup () was a football cup competition held in Czechoslovakia. It was officially created in 1960 and folded in 1993 with the split between Czech Republic and Slovakia. The cup was played throughout Czechoslovakia until 1968–69. From the 1969–70 season to the 1992–93 season, the cup was played between the winners of Czech Cup (''Český pohár'') and Slovak Cup (''Slovenský pohár''), which were thus the semi-finals of the Czechoslovak Cup. The 1990–91 UEFA Cup was the 20th season of the UEFA Cup, the secondary club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). Bazaly
The Bazaly stadium is a football stadium in Ostrava, Czech Republic. It lays in Slezská Ostrava, the Silesian part of the city, next to the Ostravice River. The first match was played there on 19 April 1959, it functioned as the home stadium of FC Baník Ostrava until the end of the 2014–15 Czech First League season. The stadium was reconstructed in 2003 (added new seats, new V.I.P. rooms, cloak-rooms and press center). The cost was about 30 mil. CZK, cca. 1mil. EUR), and the pitch was replaced in 2004. The Czechoslovak koruna (in Czech and Slovak: ''koruna československá'', at times ''koruna česko-slovenská''; ''koruna'' means ''crown'') was the currency of Czechoslovakia from 10 April 1919 to 14 March 1939, and from 1 November 1945 to 7 February 1993.
