Club Atlético Racing, known as Racing de Córdoba, is an Argentine sports club headquartered in the city of Córdoba. The football team currently plays in Primera Nacional, the regionalised second division of the Argentine football league system. History Racing was founded in the Nueva Italia district of Córdoba on 14 December 1924 using the name of Racing Club from Avellaneda, Buenos Aires Province. Estadio Miguel Sancho is a football stadium located in the city of Córdoba in the homonymous province of Argentina. It is owned and operated by local Club Atlético Racing and was opened in 1948. Torneo Argentino B was one of two leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system, made up of 100+ teams playing within eight regional zones across Argentina. The other league at level four wasand still isthe Primera C Metropolitana, which is a competition for the numerous clubs in the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The Torneo Argentino B season would end with the top teams from each zone playing in cross-over playoffs, culminating with overall champions and a number of teams (varied by season) eligible for promotion to the following season's Torneo Argentino A competition. The Torneo Regional Federal Amateur (in English "Regional Federal Amateur Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised fourth level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera C Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2018 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Federal B. Federal Amateur is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in T.R.F.A. have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera C, which have direct membership.
