RK Železničar 1949
RK Železničar 1949 () is a Serbian handball club based in Niš. They compete in the Serbian Handball Super League. History The club was formed as RK Naissus on 7 September 2009 by the amalgamation of RK Železničar and ORK Niš. They immediately started competing in the Serbian Handball Super League by inheriting the spot from ORK Niš. On 5 December 2011, the club changed its name to RK Železničar. They won their first trophy, the Serbian Handball Cup, in the 2013–14 season. After suffering relegation from the top flight in 2016, the club spent the following season without competing. Ahead of the 2017–18 season, the club received a wild card entry to the Serbian Handball Super League. Milan Đukić (; born 16 August 1985) is a Serbian handball player for Macedonian club RK Eurofarm Pelister, Eurofarm Pelister and the Serbia men's national handball team, Serbia national team. Club career After playing for his hometown club RK Radnički Kragujevac, Radnički Kragujevac, Đukić moved across the border to RK Borac Banja Luka, Borac Banja Luka in July 2011. Handball (also known as team handball, European handball, Olympic handball or indoor handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the opposing team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. The sport is usually played indoors, but outdoor variants exist in the forms of field handball, Czech handball (which were more common in the past) and beach handball. The European Handball Federation (EHF) is the umbrella organisation for European handball. Founded on 17 November 1991, it is made of 50 member federations and two associated federations (England and Scotland), and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Veselin Vujović
Veselin Vujović (born 18 January 1961) is a Montenegrin handball coach and former professional player. He is the current head coach of RK Nexe Našice and Qatar men's national handball team. As a player, Vujović competed at the 1984 and 1988 Summer Olympics for the Yugoslavia national team. Playing career During his career, Vujović played for RK Metaloplastika, Barcelona and Granollers. At Metaloplastika, he was part of the club golden generation during the 1980s, winning seven league titles, 4 cup titles and two European Champions Cup titles. Jovica Cvetković
Jovica Cvetković (; born 18 September 1959) is a Serbian handball coach and former player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1980 Summer Olympics. Club career At club level, Cvetković played for Crvena zvezda (two spells), Metaloplastika, GWD Minden, Elgorriaga Bidasoa, Teka Cantabria, Conversano and Conquense. Zoran Živković (handballer)
Zoran "Tuta" Živković (; born 5 April 1945) is a Serbian former handball coach and player. Club career Živković started playing handball at his hometown club Železničar Niš, before moving to Crvenka. He would help them win the national championship in 1969. Later on, Živković played for and served as head coach of FAP. He also spent two seasons with Metaloplastika, before moving abroad to Germany. International career At international level, Živković competed for Yugoslavia at the 1972 Summer Olympics, winning the gold medal.
